Directions - Sherlock Adaptation - Production design and Technical

Production design

Locations:
the introductory montage requires numerous, exciting but empty locations, lonely locations. this sequence sets up the adapted scene and will moslty be made up of close ups, should be dialectically lit.

I want the adapted scene to reflect the original as best i can. as far as the setting goes, an empty educational institution with a reasonable high ceiling. a fairly standard classroom setting, it should look like its from Anyschool UK to be quite frank, a fairly nondescript educationally themed room.

Costume:
Shirley:(should arrive by Friday.)
elegant yet functional dark coloured coat, oversized Red high collar sweater, Blue leggings, Boots, Scarf
Cabbie:(Actor sourced)
slightly worn smart Cheap shirt, tracksuit bottoms and comfortable driving shoes, wears a tie.

Props:
poison pill (aspirin) X2
Pink phone cover(Samsung Galaxy S5)

Lighting plans

Scene no.01/02 – introductory sequence
diagetic, natural location light used.
(Diagrams to be scanned Friday)
Scene no.3 – adaptation Scene:
As the tension builds, the lighting transforms from location normal to noir inspired direct spotlights, this should help visualise the tension.

Location recces

Talks with two possible locations dried up. NEED a location to recce.
